What inspired you to start this travel blog?
We started this travel blog to share our adventures and experiences with friends and family, inspiring them to explore the world and embrace new cultures. And because Nat needed a constructive creative outlet in retirement.
How do you choose your travel destinations?
We select destinations based on personal interests and finding unique experiences in countries we have not yet visited. While there is a stretch goal of going to all 190ish countries…well, let’s just leave it at it is good to have goals.
What types of content will be included here?
A lot of mostly accurate and not at all exaggerated stories from our adventures. We do hope to include a variety of content, including travel tips, destination guides, and cultural insights – along with the highs, lows and hard passes.
Be fair warned…this is strictly for fun!
We will strive to be objective when providing concrete advice or logistical details. That said: all entries here are based on our personal “lived” experiences, and are therefore colored by that lens. Commentary will tend to be subjective, potentially exaggerated, and all humorous anecdotes will be exploited to the fullest extent possible!
Time/Space Continuum
While we (and by “we” we mean “Nat”) will strive to update the blog regularly, we will be on the road a lot, and there will be times when the adventure of the moment takes priority over this blogging gig we are trying out. Not all entries will be in chronological order, and likely there will be a bolus of random entries all at one time. As referenced above – this is just for fun 🙂
